Tyler Spangenberg

Tyler brings a broad range of human services and non-profit organization experience to BBBSSADK – experience that has reinforced time and time again the positive impact of the individual relationships and supports that are driving force behind our work.
From 2002 – 2009, he was the Statewide Director of the Coordinated Children's Services Initiative, a high-level partnership among nine New York State child and family serving agencies and family and youth advocates. The Initiative's mission is to create locally designed and implemented systems of care that help children with complex needs remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. Tyler previously served as the lead policy analyst and the Technical Assistance Project Director for the NYS Conference of Local Mental Hygiene Directors, the statewide association of County and New York City Directors of behavioral health services. He has also held positions as the director of research for a national behavioral health management company and as an analyst for the NYS Assembly Ways and Means Committee.
After receiving his BA in Political Science from Hobart College in 1990, he went on to complete his Masters in Public Administration from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy in Albany. Tyler has been in the area since graduate school, and currently lives in Gansevoort with his wife, Ashley, and their two tremendously fun and energetic young kids, Jack and Caroline.

Bobbie Leonardi

Bobbie is a lifelong resident of the Adirondack region and graduate of Corinth High School. She attended Adirondack Community College for Liberal Arts and Hospitality and Tourism Management. Bobbie lives in Queensbury with her husband and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from SUNY Plattsburgh. She proudly joined the BBBS team in January 2009 with much enthusiasm to make a difference in the lives of local children. Bobbie wholeheartedly looks forward to her future with the BBBS family.

Rachel Wolfield
Program Director

Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with seventeen years experience working in the field. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from SUNY Albany in 1992 and then went on to pursue her master's degree in Social Work at Fordham University. Rachel has worked in a variety of settings, all of which have focused on serving children and their families.
Rachel was previously employed at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region as a Match Support Specialist. She recently relocated to the area in 2008 and joined the staff of BBBSSADK in January 2009. Rachel resides in Warren County with her husband and their two children. She is thrilled to be a part of an amazing team and to be working towards fulfilling such an incredible mission.

Jessica Robertson

Jessica is a 2002 Graduate from Queensbury High School. After graduating from Queensbury she attended the University at Buffalo in Buffalo New York. At UB Jessica obtained a degree in Psychology and American Studies. Jessica has spent the past four years working for non-profit agencies in Buffalo. She has focused on working with young children and families. Recently Jessica and her husband, Nick, moved back to the area. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs, Angie, and Atlas. Jessica is very excited to be part of the BBBS team.
